Our latest round of clinics was a big success - we'd like to thank everyone who came out and the clinicians, Mike Mangini, Dr. Tom Gibson, and Jason Blank.

Mike Mangini Drum Clinic

There was an enormous turnout last Thursday at our Marietta Superstore to see Mike Mangini, who put on a dazzling display for the audience.

Mike Mangini is a Grammy nominated artist with extensive touring experience with acts like Extreme, Steve Vai, Dale Bozzio, and Annihilator. He's also held drum clinics in over 40 countries and was selected Best Up & Coming Clinician by the readers of Modern Drummer. He has also held multiple World's Fastest Drummer titles.

Trombone Clinic With Dr. Tom Gibson

Dr. Gibson introduced the new line of trombones from Eastman Winds including the newest Eastman-Shires models. During and after the event students of all levels were able to try the instruments and get playing and technique tips from Dr. Gibson.

Dr. Tom Gibson is a highly sought performer, teacher, and clinician. Formerly the Brass Department Coordinator at GSU, Dr. Gibson has performed with numerous symphonies and famous artists. To date he has played on over 30 commercial albums.

Haynes Amadeus Flute Clinic With Jason Blank

Mr. Blank demonstrated the advantages of the new Amadeus flute line from the Haynes Flute company. Many customers got a chance to try the instruments and received guidance from Mr. Blank in picking the right instrument for them.

Mr. Blank is a Haynes Concert Artist from the Houston, Texas area and a founding member of the Houston Wind Quintet. He has performed as a soloist in orchestras around the US, and has also maintained a schedule of masterclasses.
